Ciao I’m lapo, a Florentine chef through and through, born and raised in Florence, with food in my blood from day one.
That foundation is everything to me, and it runs through everything I cook. Over the years I've taken that with me around the world, including training in some of Copenhagen's best Michelin-starred kitchens, which completely transformed the way I think about food and dining.
I've won a national cooking title on Italian TV, run ultra-luxury residencies at Palazzo Tornabuoni, and one thing has stayed constant. I don't just cook. I tell stories through food. Wherever I am in the world, that's what I'm here to do

As a chef, my profession offers me the flexibility to work anywhere in the world. Holding an Italian passport and owning a company that's registered for global business further enhances my ability to explore and engage in diverse culinary opportunities internationally. I am based between Firenze, Italy and Cape Town, South Africa but had the opportunity to work in places such as Amsterdam, London, Lisbon, Copenhagen and many other big cities all over the world.
